WORLD FAMOUS EMERSON ANVILS.  Designed by Dilton Emerson in 1983; Emerson Anvils have become a necessity for blacksmiths, farriers, and blade smiths world wide.  They are 100% MADE IN THE USA from the highest grade materials available and superior craftsmanship.  Known for their unique hardness and durability; Emerson anvils have proven themselves in every application.  All Emerson anvils are poured at an ISO certified foundry, made from a 4140 tool steel, the base and face are milled, and the whole anvil is heat treated (through-hardened) to 48-50C Rockwell providing strength, toughness, durability, and a lifetime of workability.
