The medium handle fits most 1.5 pound rounding hammers and specifically the Cliff Carroll hammers.
The large handle fits the Cliff Carroll 2 lb Champion Hammer, and both Brass Hammer sizes. The handles are thinned in the neck to help absorb concussion instead of transferring it to the elbow and wrist. The grip is designed to rest squarely in the hand without using excess pressure to control the sideways tilting or rolling of the hammer and thus aid in making more level blows.
